Workshop on Authentic Leadership
29 January 2019Dr. Markus Dettenhofer, Executive Director, Central European Institute of Technology (CEITEC), Brno, Czech Republic carried out a 04 Day training workshop on Authentic Leadership was held from 29 January- 01 February 2019 at the Career Guidance Unit, University of Peradeniya.
The program was jointly organized by the International Affairs Office and the Career Guidance Unit, University of Peradeniya. the workshop was successfully carried out with 24 participants including Administrative staff, Early Career Academic Staff and few M.Phil Students of University of Peradeniya.
The workshop was beneficial to the participants in learning about the types of leadership, emotional intelligence and social capital – leading through empowering others, risk management, planning for crisis and organizational behavior and policy development. Tem discussions, student presentations, group discussions and feedback were highlighted during the program and the participants showed their keen satisfaction.
