Information Session on ANSO and UCAS Scholarships: 2020 Call for Applications

30 April 2020

An online zoom meeting was carried out on 15 April 2020 for the pre-registered students of the University of Peradeniya to introduce 2020 application calls for ANSO and UCAS scholarships. Prof. Yuansong Wei, Director of Laboratory of Water Pollution Control Technology and Dr. Shan FU of Department of Education, Research Centre for Eco- Environmental Sciences (RSEES), Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) conducted the session. A total of 12 Academic supervisors from UCAS also participated in order to explain the students about their research areas. Around 40 students participated for the meeting. As an outcome of the meeting, 21 students were shot-listed by the Academic supervisors and those students will apply for the scholarships accordingly.The InRO greatly appreciate the support provided by the Lanka Education and Research Network (LEARN) to conduct LEARN zoom conferencing facility free of charge.
