Visit of Prof. Jega V Jegatheesan to University of Peradeniya
17 January 2020The International Relations Office (InRO) together with the Faculty of Engineering organized a programme with Prof. Jega V. Jegatheesan, a Professor of Environmental Engineering and the Director of Water: Effective Technologies and Tools (WETT) Research Centre, School of Engineering, Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT University) on 17 January 2020. The programme comprised of a seminar on “Appropriate Technologies for Water Health and Security” followed by a discussion to introduce Postgraduate opportunities for MS and PhD candidates in RMIT University. More than 40 participants participated for the programme. During his visit, Prof. Jegatheesan met with the Dean, Faculty of Engineering, Head of the Department of Civil Engineering, Director InRO and several other academic staff members.
