Visit of Prof. Stephen L. Schensul, University of Connecticut School of Medicine
11 December 2018Prof. Stephen L. Schensul, University of Connecticut, USA visited University of Peradeniya for the CKDu conference 2018, conducted by the Faculty of Medicine.
During his visit he carried out special meetings with Vice- Chancellor, UoP and also with Prof. AS Abeygunawardena, Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Prof. H.M.T.G.A. Pitawala, Director, PGIS, Prof. Tudor Silva, Faculty of Arts, Prof. Rohana Chandrajith, Faculty of Science, and Prof. Wajira Weerasinghe, Prof. Samath Dharmarathne, Faculty of Medicine.
The outcome of the meetings came up as to initiate novel projects between the two institutions, in order to enhance the academic opportunities for the staff and students.
