Delegation from Shanghai University of Electric Power, China (SUEP)
29 June 2018A delegation from Shanghai University of Electric Power, China visited University of Peradeniya on 29 June 2018, with the involvement of the IAO.
Mr. WENG Peifen, Vice President, Mr. TANG Zhong, Mr. CUI Haoyang, Ms. ZHANG Ye and Ms. CHEN Ling, SUEP took part in the visit.
Consequently, meetings were held between Acting Vice- chancellor, S.H.P.P. Karunaratne, Dr. Nanda Gunawardena, Director/ International Affairs office, Prof. J.B. Ekanayake, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering and the delegation.
SUEP is a world recognized institution and through an already processing Student Exchange Program, 03 students of UoP are studying at the SUEP. Further to expand these exchanges for the fields of Electrical and Electronic Engineering between the two institutions, SUEP assured to sign a MoU in the future.
