Visit of Dr. Mahesh Panchagnula, IIT Madras
05 March 2019Dr. Mahesh Panchagnula, Dean, International and Alumni Relations for Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM) visited University of Peradeniya on 05 March 2019. He is also a Professor in Applied Mechanics and the purpose behind his visit was to initiate collaborations with University of Peradeniya (UoP).
As an outcome, information on funded research internship opportunities for senior undergraduates of UoP for the summer was presented. Also the cutting edge research and the various interdisciplinary areas that make IITM a distinctive institution was elaborated during the meeting.
Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Acting Director, International Affairs Office took part in the meeting with Dr. Mahesh Panchagnula.
