03rd Workshop on Publicizing Research to the General Public- 2018
29 November 2018International Affairs Office along with the Editorial Board, Hantana Vision organized the 03rd Workshop on Publicizing Research to the General Public- 2018 on 29 November 2018 at the Senate Room, University of Peradeniya.
The basic objectives of the workshop were to locate capable article writers for the University Research Magazine, Hantana Vision, further to improve the inscription abilities of the writers and to provide with the knowledge of publicizing research to the general public.
Prof. Nedra Karunaratne, Faculty of Science, Dr. Suranga Kodituwakku, Faculty of Agriculture and Dr. Manori Jayasinghe, Faculty of Dental Sciences participated as the resource persons for the workshop.
The participants were able to gain valuable lessons in relation to the subject matter and around 50 participants, including the staff and the students of UoP tart in the program. The program was concluded with the awarding of certificates by Prof. S.H.P.P. Karunaratne, Deputy Vice- Chancellor, University of Peradeniya.
