04th Workshop on Publicizing Research to the General Public
26 March 201904thWorkshop on Publicizing Research to the General Public- 2019 from the workshop series of Hantana Vision, University Research Magazine was conducted on 26 March 2019 at the Postgraduate Institute of Humanities and Social Sciences (PGIHS), University of Peradeniya.
The basic objectives of the workshop was to locate capable article writers for the University Research Magazine, Hantana Vision and further to improve their writing abilities and to provide them with the knowledge of publicizing research to the general public.
Being the resource persons, Prof. David Damrel, University of South Carolina Upstate, USA who has been appointed as a Fulbright Scholar to the Faculty of Arts, University of Peradeniya, and Dr. Manori Jayasinghe (Faculty of Dental Sciences), Assistant Editor of Hantana Vision distributed vital awareness on the proper writing mechanisms.
More than 35 participants took part in the program and dynamically engaged in the practical group works as well. Acting Director, International Affairs and the members of the Editorial Board, Hantana Vision took part in the program where the International Affairs Office, University of Peradeniya coordinated and organized the whole event.
