Workshop on 2019 ERASMUS+ Collaborative Research Opportunities
15 December 2018International Affairs Office organized the Seminar Workshop on 2019 ERASMUS+ Collaborative Research Opportunities on 15 December 2018 at the Senate Room, University of Peradeniya.
As the European Union (EU) has notified Call for Proposals on Erasmus+ 2019 Programs, the workshop was brought out as a program guide for the interested participants. The basic objective of the seminar was to promote the EU ERASMUS+ Programs among the staff of UoP in order to expand the linkages between UoP EU partner institutions.
Deputy Vice- Chancellor, UoP welcome the assemble while Mr. Frank Hess, Head of Operation of the Delegation of the European Union to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Prof. Anoma Abhayaratne, Faculty of Arts, UoP and Dr. Nanda Gunawardhana, Former Director, International Affairs Office, UoP took part as the resource persons for the workshop. Further to that Prof. D.A.N. Dharmasena, Prof. Dharshana Yapa, Dr. Amalka Pinidiyaarachchi, Dr. Rekha Nianthi, Dr. Damayanthi Nanayakkara, Dr. J. K. Vidanarachchi also represented UoP and shared their knowledge and experiences in relation to the Erasmus+ programs.
An approximate number of 50 staff members took part in the workshop and the presentations and the discussions provided were really productive to them.
