22 January 2019Prof. Anu Singh Lather is Pro Vice-Chancellor and Dr. Ruchika Malhotra, Associate Dean (IRD) and Associate Professor in Computer Science & Engineering department, Delhi Technological University, India visited University of Peradeniya (UoP) on 22 January 2019.
In order to discuss the potential collaborative research in the fields of Management and Computer Engineering within two institutions, a meeting was carried out with Vice- Chancellor, UoP and the delegation. Furthering the discussions, it was also suggested to sign a MoU between two institutions, in relation to the discussed areas.
Significant suggestions were presented to work according to the Indo- SL Agreement, also with the assistance of the governmental programs and SAARC accord to facilitate and expand the collaborative research activities of both institutions.
Prof. S.H.P.P. Karunaratne, Deputy Vice- Chancellor, Dr. Shameen Jinadasa, Acting Director, International Affairs Office and Dr. Dammika Alkaduwe, Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering took part in the meeting from the end of UoP.
