Career Supportive Program

International Affairs Office (IAO), University of Peradeniya successfully completed the first traineeship of Career Supportive Program for two volunteers and the certificates for the trainees were awarded by the Deputy Vice- Chancellor, University of Peradeniya on 18 September 2019.

Ms. Indeewari Rathnayake and Ms. Uthpala Rathnayake, old students of Mahamaya Girls’ College, Kandy gained professional experience through their involvement in the official work at IAO, followed as in coordination of international delegations, organizing international conferences and in other similar matters.

“ UoP had a very clear idea of what they wanted form the mobility, which was great, since it lead to an extensive and fruitful program. I spent my mornings at the International Relations office, where we completed an ICM application and started discussing two different CBHE projects. In the afternoons I got to visit the different faculties and departments at UoP, as well as post-graduate institutes of Science, and Humanities and Social Sciences. In this short time I feel that I have seen and learned everything about UoP that I could possibly have askedfor.. ”
