In February 2024, a sponsorship worth Rs. 600,000.00 was received from Professor Siva Sivananthan, Professor Emeritus, University of Illinois at Chicago, USA, to utilize the Pera Sixes- Invitational Hockey Tournaments.

The AAUP Executive Committee decided to award Rs. 50,000.00 to a student named I.P. Liyanage (Registration No: M/23/111) who participated Swimming (Men’s) event in the World University Games (WUG) 2025 in Germany from July 17 to July 27, 2025.
