Internship opportunities in Japan

1. METI Government of Japan Internship Program (JIP)
(Deadline: 30 June, 2025)

The Ministry of Economy, Trade, and Industry (METI) is offering an internship program for students eager to find employment in Japan. Students can apply for In-person Course (in Japan) or Online Course. Having a certain level of Japanese proficiency (equivalent to JLPT N3 or higher) or English proficiency is required. Applications are now open.

DETAILS :

Internship Placement: Small and medium-sized enterprises in Japan. The host company will be selected by the JIP Office.
Number of Recruits:1 person per company (maximum 100 companies)
Application Deadline: 30 June, 2025 (Monday)

2."Internships in Japan for AI and Tech Talent" Program

METI also provides another internship program focusing on AI and Tech Talent. Students can discover Japanese companies that eagerly welcome tech talent from overseas. Japanese language skills are not required for this program.
