Motivation and facilitation of students to take part in China Agricultural Robot Competition – 2019

Competition was Organized on (June – November, 2019)

A team from Scorpion Robotic Society of the University of Peradeniya participated the in the China Agricultural Robot Competition (CARC) 2019 held in Qingdao.
Objective of the competition is to address urgent needs of modern agricultural development for intelligent agricultural machinery and equipment.
The Scorpion Robotic Society of the University secured the second place of the competition.

International Oratory Competition – Feb 2021

Competition was Organized on (February, 2021)

Student participation for the “International Oratory Cmpetition” conducted by globe unite and next gen in February, 2021.
One student participated in the event: Mr. Anuruddha Heenatigala graduate from the faculty of science.

Breathing thoughts students creative design competition - 2021

Special online competition was designed with the help of the Robarosiya students’ society and it was sponsored by a graduate startup company “Keily”, a specialized medicinal tea producer.

Included three innovative activities
Digital poster design, under three given themes
A new Logo design competition for the CGU
Short stories/short drama script writing competition

The Bindu Challenge - Brandix

The Bindu Challenge, an innovation competition initiated by Brandix, focusing on the development of innovative & sustainable solutions to enable access to clean, safe drinking water.

A total of LKR 250,000 will be awarded for the best five (05) projects, with the opportunity to work on these solutions in a real-life setting, with Sri Lanka’s largest apparel exporter and be a part of the driving force in our sustainable development.
The projects could be either individual/ group (not more than 5 members).
