The University of Peradeniya is committed to maintaining a learning environment and workplace in which the dignity and equality of all persons are respected and is free of harassment and violence, including sexual or gender-based harassment and sexual violence. To this end, the University aims to prevent the occurrence of harassment and violence; to implement prompt, effective, and fair mechanisms to provide for the inquiry and resolution of complaints; and to facilitate adequate and appropriate support for victims of harassment and violence.
