AUG 11	9th International Conference on Agriculture 2022
AUG 03	The Counseling and Psychological Support Unit [CaPSU] of the University of Peradeniya will start functioning on August 3rd at the University Health Center. The need of the services of professional counseling unit has long been felt, especially at a time students started distancing from the university during the pandemic. Keeping in line with the vision of the Vice-Chancellor, the council approved the establishment of the unit this year. The center is ready to offer free counseling service for the university students with effect from August 4th. The Alumni Association of University of Peradeniya [AAUP] together with its Canberra chapter of AAUP provided the most needed financial assistance to recruit professional counselors.
JULY 15	The Science Industry Interaction Cell (SIIC) of the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya is organizing the annual career fair, "Industry Day 2022” for the ninth occasion this year. The event is scheduled to be held on the 15th of July 2022. The Industry Day is organized to open a common platform for representatives from public/private sector organizations to meet undergraduate students of the Faculty of Science seeking internship and employment opportunities. MAY 31	UNDERGRADUATE RESEARCH CONGRESS, Faculty of Arts (URCFA) will be held on 31^st May 2022 from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30. p.m. at the Faculty of Arts.
MAR 08	Orientation Programme 2022 of the Faculty of Management will be held on 08^th March 2022 from 8.00 a.m. to 4.30. p.m. at the University Gymnasiumum.
JAN 27	The 10th Sri Lanka Economic Research Conference (SLERC) organized by the Sri Lanka Forum of University Economists (SLFUE) will be held on 27^th and 28^th January at the Faculty of Agriculture.
