2024 Events

Hanthana Pamula Hall Night 03 was successfully held on 08th September 2024 at the premises of Mahakanda Hall with the enthusiastic participation of the resident students. The event was organized with the objective of strengthening unity, promoting cultural expression, and enhancing interpersonal relationships among the hostel residents.

The Second Pirith Chanting Programme at Mahakanda Hostel was held on 22nd January 2024, aiming to invoke blessings for the students, staff, and the hostel community while promoting spiritual wellbeing and a harmonious living environment. The programme was organized to strengthen cultural and religious values, encourage mindfulness, and foster unity among hostel residents.

A Shramadana Campaign was conducted on 21st June 2024 at the Irugalbodhi Temple, with active participation from the students of Mahakanda Hostel. The campaign aimed to support the construction and development of the temple, fostering a spirit of community service, teamwork, and social responsibility among the students.
