The welcome ceremony of the new entrants to the Faculty of Dental Sciences, University of Peradeniya was held at the K. Bambaradeniya Auditorium, Faculty of Dental Sciences on 13 January 2020, under the patronage of Professor Upul B. Dissanayake, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya.

Dr. J.A.V.P. Jayasinghe, Dean Faculty of Dental Sciences welcomed the gathering. Seventy-five undergraduate students were enrolled for the 2018/19 academic year and their parents were also present at the occasion.
