The welcome ceremony of the new entrants to the Faculty of Agriculture, University of Peradeniya was held at the Theater of the Animal Science Department, on 20th January 2020, under the patronage of Professor Upul B. Dissanayake, Vice-Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya.

Professor D.K.N.G. Pushpakumara, Dean, Faculty of Agriculture welcomed the gathering. Two hundred and sixty three undergraduate students were enrolled for the 2018/19 academic year and their parents were also present at the occasion.
