The Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany to Sri Lanka His Excellency Holger Seubert visited University of Peradeniya on 29th of October 2021. The ambassador was welcomed by Prof. M.D. Lamawansa, Vice-Chancellor, University of Peradeniya. Prof. Terrence Madujith, Deputy Vice-Chancellor, University of Peradeniya, Deans of Faculties, Directors of the Postgraduate Institutes, Director, International Relations Office and Prof. Anoma Abhayarathna. An overview of the University was presented by Prof. Terrence Madhujith at the very outset. The Vice-Chancellor discussed about possible collaborations between Germany and the university. Progress of ongoing collaborations, possible future collaborations including research and academic exchange were discussed at the brief meeting. Mr. Holger Seubert conveyed his greetings to the university of Peradeniya and expressed his interest in consolidating strong collaborations with the university.
