Indigenous Herbal Tree planting ceremony for commemoration of Srimath Anagarika Dharmapala's Birthday, organized by the University of Peradeniya under the guidance of State Ministry of Indigenous Medicine Promotion, Rural and Ayurvedic Hospitals Development & Community Health was held at the university premises on 17th September 2020. Professor Upul B. Dissanayake, Vice-Chancellor of the University participated as the Chief Guest of this event. The Vice-Chancellor, Professor S.H.P.P. Karunaratne (Deputy Vice-Chancellor) Bursar, Acting Public Relations Officer, Curator and Non-Academic Staff members of the University planted Indigenous Herbal Trees during the ceremony.
