Mr. I.M.L.P. Herath, who graduated from the Faculty of Science, University of Peradeniya recently donated a chainsaw worth of nearly Rs. 125,000 which has been a dire need of the landscape division of the university. Dr. Suranjith Gama-Arachchige from the Department of Botany, Faculty of Science who also currently serves as a curator of the university initiated the donation. The university appreciates such donations which are very helpful in meeting some of the needs.
