The Webpage to raise awareness on sexual or gender-based harassment and sexual violence was ceremonially launched by Professor Upul B. Dissanayake, Vice Chancellor, University of Peradeniya, on July 26, 2021, at the Vice Chancellor’s Office. Professor Carmen Wickramagamage, Chairperson of the Committee to Monitor Sexual or Gender-Based Harassment and Sexual Violence (CMSGBHSV), Prof. Kamala Liyanage, member of the CMSGBHSV, and Ms. M.K.F. Fawaza, Assistant Registrar, Legal and Documentation Unit attended the even in person. Several members of the CMSGBHSV were present via Zoom.
