Second Workshop on neuro care, co-financed by the Erasmus + Capacity Building in Higher Education program in Kristianstad, Sweden.

Professor M.D. Lamawansa, the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Peradeniya, and few academics from the Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, Peradeniya attended the Neuro care workshop held from May 9th – 12th 2022 in Kristianstad, Sweden. The event was organized in collaboration with European partners from Högskolan Kristianstad, Sweden, Triskelion, Norway, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia, University of Tartu, Estonia, and Neapolis University Pafos, Cyprus. The purpose of the workshop was to develop eight courses that represent a total of 30 credits in accordance with the Sri Lanka Qualification Framework (SLQF) system related to neurodegenerative care.

Professor MD Lamawansa, the Vice-Chancellor and Dr. HDWT Damayanthi Dassanayake (Project Coordinator/Manager), Dr. UWS Rathnayake Dr. AMSD Pathiranage, Ms. BRGTK Weerasingha, and Ms. DARK Dasanayaka of Faculty of Allied Health Sciences, University of Peradeniya participated in the workshop. Vice-Chancellors and members of Universities of Colombo, University of Ruhuna, and General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, too taken part in the event.
