University of Peradeniya, a premier Sri Lankan academic institution, renowned for excellence in teaching and research, opens up its annual research sessions to the wider national and international research community.

The University of Peradeniya is located in a surrounding with on a site of great natural beauty, just 6 km away from the city of Kandy, the hill capital of Sri Lanka. It is in close proximity to the world-renowned Royal Botanical Gardens of Peradeniya and the Temple of the Tooth.

iPURSE 2019 will bring together eminent researchers of all disciplines, providing them a platform for disseminating research findings, exchanging contemporary knowledge and building partnerships and collaborations to advance scientific research. We invite submissions of research papers under three broad themes.
